Robert has also been a member of the American Association for Justice, the New York State Bar Association and the American Bar Association.


He was recently re- elected Director of the 2014- 2017 New York State Academy of Trial Lawyers. He is also a longstanding member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, a Life Fellow of the American Bar Foundation and was named to the New York Super Lawyers from 2005 through 2017, his 12th consecutive year.


He was selected for 2 consecutive years, as one of Long Island's Top recent Legal Eagles  while a partner at a prominent, Long Island based Law Firm and has also been selected as one of the "Top 100 Trial Lawyers" by the American Trial Lawyers Association from 2007- 2012 and the National Trial Lawyers from 2013- 2017.


Robert was also recently selected for inclusion in the 2017 edition of the Top Attorneys in North America.


Robert has been awarded the prestigious AV rating by Martindale- Hubbell from 2004- 2018. This rating, which identifies a lawyer with very high to preeminent legal ability, is a reflection of expertise, experience, integrity and overall professional excellence. The AV rating system was established by attorneys for attorneys, and recognizes those with the highest professional and ethical standards.


He has obtained many awards for his clients in the one million dollar range; some of which were well in excess of such amount.

Background


Robert was born in 1952 and attended the State University of New York at Binghamton in 1970. He then went on to the Herbert H. Lehman College of the City University of New York where he completed his B.A. degree in French in 1975. Following graduation he attended Pace University School of Law where, in 1979, he received his J.D. degree. In 1980 Robert was admitted to the Bar in New York and U.S. District Court in the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York and, in 1991, to the U. S. Court of Appeals, Second Circuit.


Memberships


Robert was a member and Associate Editor of the Pace Law Review from 1978- 1979. He was also a Moot Court Semifinalist in 1978. In 2008 he was an honoree and received the Distinguished Service Award from Pace University School of Law for leadership.


In keeping with his dedication to the practice of law, Robert presently and for many years was on the Board of Directors and is an active member of the New York State Trial Lawyers Association and the New York State Academy of Trial Lawyers.

Directions
